Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, has criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, for his campaign rally ahead of the February 25th election.
According to news sources, Tinubu has failed to disclose his ideas to court voters during his campaign across over twenty states so far, instead casting shade at opposition parties and dancing.
When asked if President Muhammadu Buhari’s scorecard and Tinubu’s project in Lagos while he was governor are distinct, Lai Mohammed told TVC that they are inseparable because Tinubu is part of the current administration, as opposed to being an independent candidate or coming in from another party.

Tinubu, he claims, is supposed to campaign on Buhari’s scorecard; but, this is not the case.
He went on to suggest that if Tinubu cannot explain what the APC has done over the last eight years, it will be difficult for anyone to vote for him.
However, Bola Tinubu has stated why the popular Lagos State transformative agenda cannot be implemented across Nigeria as a whole.
He believes that because Nigeria is a complicated country, it will be impossible to replicate the Lagos revolutionary program across the country.

According to the former Lagos State governor, such a goal is impossible to fulfill because Nigeria is diverse.
Tinubu stated that providing state governments more leeway would allow them to thrive and grow economically.
