President-elect Bola Tinubu has sent a special birthday message to Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG.
This comes amid the cleric’s silence on the outcome of the country’s just ended presidential election.
According to news reports, Adeboye, who is known for owning the world’s largest pentecostal church, will turn 81 on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Several world leaders and pastors, including President Muhammadu Buhari, sent congratulations messages to the cleric.
In addition, Tunde Rahman, the previous Lagos State governor’s communications adviser, published a statement congratulating Adeboye on the new era.
Tinubu stated that Adeboye’s ministerial work as a preacher and leader has been a huge blessing to Nigeria, Africa, and the world.
He recalled their friendship dating back to his time as governor, and how the annual Lagos State Thanksgiving Service began then.
The renowned clergy, according to Tinubu, has been an example model whose teachings and counsel have continued to regulate and stabilize the country.
