In separate press conferences on Thursday, candidates for the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi, refused to concede defeat, stating that they would go to court to challenge the results of the Presidential election, in which the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emerged victorious and was presented with a certificate of return as President-elect.
