According to ANAEDOONLINE Sports Extra, Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the Serie A Player of the Month award for February.
The Napoli striker competed against his colleague Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Federico Baschirotto of Lecce, Juventus’ Angel Di Maria, and Torino’s Aleksei Miranchuk for the prize.
The Nigerian scored five goals in four games for the Partenopei, who are presently in first position in Serie A with an 18-point advantage over Inter.
With 19 goals in 20 appearances, he is also Serie A’s top scorer in 2022–23 and has scored in each of the last eight league contests.
