President Muhammadu Buhari has explained why Nigerians in Doha, Qatar, should back President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Buhari urged Nigerians in the diaspora to back Tinubu’s government so that Nigeria can continue to be a light of hope and prosperity in Africa, as well as an example for other African countries to follow.

Malam Garba Shehu, the President’s communications aide, said in a statement on Wednesday that the President made the call during a town hall gathering during his visit to the State of Qatar on Tuesday.
