Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian afrobeat sensation, paid a visit to Buckingham Palace in England to commemorate International Women’s Day.

According to reports, the ‘Somebody’s Son’ singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share images of herself and Queen Consort Camila at the Royal Palace.

Tiwa Savage was invited to the International Women’s Day reception at Buckingham Palace alongside Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s wife Akshata Murty, performer Elaine Paige, and Leader of the House of Commons, Conservative MP Penny Mordaunt, among others.

She captioned the photos: “Proverbs 18:16-17. A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men International Women’s Day Reception at the Buckingham Palace with HRH The Queen Consort”.

Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage reacted to Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, winning her first Grammy.

The “Free mind” singer, who was nominated for “Best Melodic Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Song,” won “Best Melodic Rap Performance” on Sunday night for her role in “Wait for U,” Future’s popular song featuring Drake.

Her contribution to the chart-topping single ‘Wait For U’ garnered her the honor. Burna Boy, on the other hand, was denied two Grammy nominations.
