Apostle Johnson Suleiman, General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, has said that the permanent voters’ card (PVC) is meaningless.

According to news sources, the controversial priest stated this while reacting to the outcome of Nigeria’s gubernatorial and house of assembly elections.

Suleman, who was outraged by the election’s violence, claimed that the two elections held in Nigeria proved that PVC is ineffective.

According to him, the country has witnessed a situation in which leaders illegally impose themselves on citizens in order to assume political positions.

He stated that Nigerian politicians have abused honesty and that individuals should not follow in their footsteps since honesty still pays.

Meanwhile, Suleman commented on the growing habit of Nigerian politicians going around begging voters for votes.

According to news reports, many politicians resorted to begging Nigerians for votes after the unexpected massive votes that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, polled during the election, which also allowed some unpopular politicians to be elected into National Assembly positions.

Suleman stated in an Instagram post that while politicians would never engage in such a manner, Nigerian millennials have changed the narrative, forcing them to go about begging votes.

The preacher also prayed for youths who have endured the pain of the current economic condition in order to ensure the birth of a new Nigeria.

According to him, the country has never had it so bad that residents do not have access to their money, and he emphasizes that God is aware of the situation and will provide light at the end of the tunnel.
