At Owutu-Edda, Ebonyi’s Afikpo South Local Government Area, hoodlums who are thought to be political thugs have set a state high court on fire.
Tuesday at Owutu-Edda, Ms. Oluchi Uduma, the court’s Registrar, verified the occurrence to reporters.
She claimed that on Tuesday, thugs broke into the court and set the structure on fire.
The courthouse, records, and other treasures, according to Uduma, were completely destroyed by fire.

The incident was also confirmed by Mr. Chima Nkama, the chairman of the Afikpo South Local Government Area, who also noted that the situation had been reported to the police.
