A UK court has found Nigeria’s former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, guilty of organ trafficking.
According to the UK Guardian, the Nigerian politician, his wife, Beatrice, daughter Sonia, and Obinna Obeta, a doctor implicated in the case, plotted to bring the victim to London in order to abuse him for his kidney.
According to the publication, the jury determined that Ekwerenmadu and the others named were guilty and would face punishment for their actions.
