Festus Keyamo (SAN), Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has announced that he has asked the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi over his post-election statement.
According to newsmen, Keyamo stated this on Thursday during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
He accused Peter Obi and his running companion, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, of stirring up trouble in the country.

According to Keyamo, there is a method for addressing issues if one is dissatisfied with the presidential election on February 25th.
He stated that claiming that Nigeria does not have a President-elect is a grandiose illusion.
Keyamo specifically accused Baba-Ahmed of stealing the mandate of the people when he was sworn in as a Senator and afterwards dismissed by the court.
According to him, the presidential election was defective, but not to the point of calling the entire process into question.
He added that Baba-Ahmed, as an election participant, cannot arrogate to himself the role of judge and jury.
