After firing Javi Gracia, Leeds has named Sam Allardyce as their new manager.

Gracia didn’t get here until February, following Jesse Marsch.

But after Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Bournemouth, the fans turned against him, and he was fired.

He was swiftly replaced by 68-year-old Allardyce, who returned to the game with the mission of saving Leeds from relegation following a two-year absence.

Prior to the trip to the league-leading Manchester City on Saturday, Allardyce will train on Wednesday.

Leeds’ most recent league victory came against Nottingham Forest on April 4, and they are presently ranked 17th in the standings.

Allardyce has four games to save Leeds and will be paid £500,000 for his four-game stint as manager. Should he maintain Leeds in the Premier League, he may earn an additional £2.5 million.
