Tajudeen Abbas, a representative for the Zaria Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, and Benjamin Kalu, a representative for the Bende Federal Constituency in Abia State, paid a visit to former president Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday.
Following their election as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Abbas and Kalu met with Obasanjo.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) had already announced that Abbas and Kalu had been nominated for the top roles, according to news sources.
