Controversial Speed Darlington, a stage name of Nigerian rapper Darlington Okoye, has urged South-East zone politicians in the upcoming 10th National Assembly to push for a referendum on the region’s separation from Nigeria.
He made the accusation in a recent video message that he posted on his Instagram page.
He claimed that the Igbo people needed to establish their own distinct nation since they were under siege in Nigeria.

Speed Darlington said, “Igbo National Assembly members, free us from this hell. Stab APC in the back. Show them your real colour.
“Even though APC made you powerful, stab them in the back, show them your real colour. [Biafra] referendum now! Referendum now! Free your people from this hell hole.”
The rapper claimed Igbo people continue to manage instead of the Assembly members to free their people.
