The Anambra State Government has detained Mrs. Chinyere Ifesinachi, a nursing mother who was accused of abusing her housekeeper.
On the directive of Hon. Ify Obinabo, the Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs. Ifesinachi was detained in Nnewi.
Idinmachukwu, the housekeeper for Mrs. Ifesinachi, was recently spotted running errands for her boss while sporting swollen eyes and numerous scars all over her body.

She was captured on camera by a local citizen, who then called for her punishment. She claimed in the video that she does not attend school and that she has experienced cruel punishment as a result of each and every decision she has made.
She claimed that her mother had severely beaten her for dropping one of her madam’s twins by accident.
According to a media representative for the Anambra State Commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Children’s Welfare, Chidinma Ikeanyionwu, the abuser, Mrs. Ifesinachi, claimed that her activities were the work of the devil after being apprehended.
According to reports, the 25-year-old mother of two pleaded with the authorities to let her go free so she wouldn’t repeat her actions.

Her sister allegedly gave her an 8-year-old housekeeper in March of this year to help with household duties after she complained that she was unable to handle them now that her twins were put to bed.
Commissioner Obinabo was reported by Ikeanyionwu as adding that the woman had been given to the police for investigation and would face charges.
