Tinubu Sends Message To Hilda Baci As She Breaks Guiness World Record

Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, congratulated Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey Effiong, also known as Hilda Baci, on breaking the world record for the most hours spent cooking on Monday.

Baci beat the record on Monday at 7:45 am after cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes, according to newsmen.

Indian chef Lata Tondon previously held the record.

On Thursday at precisely 4 o’clock in the afternoon, Hilda started the competition by turning on her cooker.

Although she has already smashed the record, the Akwa Ibom native continues with her goal of cooking for 96 hours and becoming the first person to ever do it.

Reacting, Tinubu, in a tweet expressed joy over Baci new feat.

He tweeted: “I congratulate Hilda Effiong Bassey on her record-breaking achievement.

“It was a remarkable display of the Nigerian can-do attitude and the spirit of excellence that lies within. We are all deeply proud of her.”
