Obiageli Ezekwesili, a former minister of education, has charged Ghanaians with persistently attempting to appropriate the best talent in Nigeria.

Ezekwesili claimed in a tweet on Monday that she had observed the pattern with Tiwa Savage and more recently with Hilda Bassey.

According to news reports, Savage gave a historical performance at King Charles III’s coronation.

She was the first Nigerian performer to be invited to take part in a royal coronation ceremony abroad.

Bassey, on the other hand, recently beat the record for the longest cooking time set by the Guinness Book of World Records.

The Indian chef Lata Tondon’s record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds was surpassed by the 27-year-old from Akwa Ibom in 2019.

Many Nigerians braved the rain to attend the celebration at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos, to cheer up the chef.

On the internet, though, some Ghanaians asserted that Baci is a Ghanaian.

Ezekwesili responded that it was pretty funny that some Ghanaians are now accustomed to camping out with successful Nigerians.

She wrote, “It was not enough that Ghanaians dared to contest the Best in Jollof Rice trophy with us. I see they have formed the habit of claiming our Bests in other exploits. I saw it with Tiwa Savage and now with Hilda Bassey.
