Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, has made clear his stance on accepting any appointment from Bola Tinubu, the president.
According to Newsmen, Wike claimed that only God can choose his next course of action in a recent interview with BBC Pidgin.
The former governor claimed that after working for the government for the previous eight years, relaxing should come first. He had made the decision to do this.

Wike responded that Tinubu has not yet discussed accepting any appointments at the federal level with him.
But before accepting a position from the previous governor of Lagos State, he would consult with his wife and close friends.
Wike added he will also ensure that he is ready to accept such an offer or not.
