Opeyemi Ajewole, a professor of social and environmental forestry at the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Oyo State, was reportedly assassinated by suspected gunmen.
According to reports, unnamed gunmen killed Ajewole last night.
He was killed on his way home, according to information obtained by ANAEDOONLINE.
Oladoyin Adebowale, a faculty member, claimed he was murdered while being held at gunpoint.
