Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has said that he will continue to fight for the establishment of Biafra as a sovereign state.
On Tuesday, Kanu’s legal representative Aloy Ejimakor tweeted his remark.
He stated that Biafra’s pursuit of independence is unalterable.

Kanu, who has been held by the Department of State Services, DSS, in Abuja since 2021, is said to have thanked IPOB members and Biafrans for their support in the effort to secure his release, according to Ejimakor.
The tweet reads, “Personal Message from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: “I deeply appreciate the abiding solidarity of the people of Biafra & the entire IPOB noble family against my continued illegal detention.
“I assure you all that our pursuit of self determination to its logical conclusion is non-negotiable”.
