A popular online video depicts some commercial motorcycle riders, known as Okada riders, in Garoua, Cameroon, protesting the impact of the elimination of fuel subsidies in Nigeria on their companies and the cost of gasoline in their nation.

The okada riders were heard denouncing President Bola Tinubu for eliminating fuel subsidies as they voiced their discontent with the development. They spoke in a mixture of Fulfulde and French.
