Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, has declared Nigeris’ affiliate of the global cryptocurrency exchange platform a hoax.
On Sunday, Zhao announced this on Twitter, writing, “Binance Nigeria Limited is a scam entity.”
“Binance has issued cease & desist notice to the scammer entity “Binance Nigeria Limited”. Don’t believe everything you read in the news,” he wrote.

As previously reported by Anaedoonline.ng, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria deemed Binance Nigeria to be operating illegally in the country because it is neither registered or authorized by the SEC.
