The delivery of 38,911 sets of uniforms to female students in senior secondary schools in Jigawa State has started.

This was announced by Alhaji Abba Mustapha, the Permanent Secretary of the Jigawa State Ministry of Education, at the beginning of the exercise on Monday in Jahun, the state capital and seat of the Jahun Local Government Area.
He claims that the practice will assist pupils in 296 schools.

“The act is a reflection of the government’s dedication to promoting girl-child education in the state and across the nation.

Thus, he urged the recipients, “I call on them to make good use of the uniforms in their respective schools.”

Mrs. Najaatu Ibrahim, the director of the Girls’ Science Senior Secondary School in Jahun, praised the state government for supporting the education of girls.
