According to reports, gunmen invaded the Kerang hamlet in Plateau State’s Mangu Local Government Area and killed no less than seven people.

The incident in the community took place in spite of a 24-hour curfew that the government had imposed on the LGA after gunmen carried out similar attacks that left many people dead in nearby areas the previous week.

A man and his wife were killed in the most recent attacks, according to Joseph Kabir, a resident of Kerang community, who verified the attacks to The ANAEDOONLINE in Jos on Tuesday.

He added that the victims were given a mass burial on Tuesday morning.
