West Ham United have accepted Arsenal’s £105 million proposal for Declan Rice, who has agreed to go to the Emirates from the London Stadium this summer.

However, the terms of Declan Rice’s contract are still being worked out between the two teams.

West Ham United has already rejected three bids for the 24-year-old England international, including two from Arsenal and one from Manchester City. They turned down the offers because they did not meet the £100 million asking price for the player.

After West Ham United turned down Manchester City’s £90 million offer, the reigning Premier League champions withdrew from the race, increasing Arsenal’s prospects of winning.

Declan Rice joined West Ham United’s academy in 2014 after being released by Chelsea’s academy. Since then, he has risen to the position of club captain, assisting the club in winning the Europa Conference League last season, the club’s first major title in 43 years.

Rice’s current contract with West Ham United expires on June 30, 2024, but Arsenal agreed to meet West Ham’s asking price despite the fact that the English midfielder will be a free agent the following summer.

West Ham approved Arsenal’s bid for Declan Rice, which included a set £100 million transfer cost and a £5 million add-on fee.

Rice has made 245 appearances and scored 15 goals for West Ham United since making his senior debut in the 2016-2017 season after being promoted from the club’s youth.

He appeared in all five games for the Three Lions of England at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He has played 43 times for England so far.
