In the Federal Capital Territory’s Mpape region, no fewer than two people have been abducted.
According to information obtained by our correspondent, gunmen invaded the neighborhood early on Sunday morning and abducted two individuals.
The shooters were roughly six, according to Yakubu, a local resident who spoke to our reporter.
Six armed guys entered our neighborhood about 1 a.m. today (Sunday), opened fire randomly throughout the operation, and kidnapped two individuals, according to Yakubu.

She, however, claimed that the victims had been rescued by the police and would be reunited with their loved ones.
She said efforts were ongoing to arrest the suspects.
“There was a swift response from our men from Mpape and the Command Tactical Team. They mounted pressure on the criminals which forced them to leave behind the victims.
“They will soon be reunited with their family members. We are also on the trail of the suspects,” Adeh said.
On June 3, 2023, armed men invaded the Mashafa area of Mpape and kidnapped four residents in an operation that lasted about an hour.
