Yobe Trains 76 Workers In Government Policies Implementation

The Administration Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) in Lagos is receiving funding from the Yobe State government to train 76 senior and directorate executives.

At a brief farewell ceremony in Damaturu, Yobe State’s head of the civil service, Alhaji Garba Bilal, revealed this and stated that the training was designed to boost and encourage efficiency for better service delivery.

According to Bilal, the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni has always viewed training and retraining of civil officials as the most effective strategy for overcoming current obstacles in the execution of public policies and programs.

The Head of Service further assured that the government was working on another batch of participants who would leave for training in August.
