Rufai Oseni, host of Arise TV, has reacted to the ongoing ministerial screening in the Senate, calling it a “bloody daylight joke.”

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Senate began reviewing and ratification of President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nomination list today, despite the uproar that surrounded the 28-man list last week.

Abubakar Momoh, a two-term member of the House of Representatives and the first ministerial contender to be examined before the Senate, was advised to ‘bow and go’ after answering only one question.

In a statement, a politician stated that Wike is the best in Rivers State.

GodsWill Akpabio, the Senate President, then directed him to take a bow and depart.

In response, Rufai expressed his displeasure with the move in a tweet, claiming that the ministerial screening resembled a scene from the stage play of renowned actor Moses Olaiya, widely known as Baba Sala.

He tweeted, “Over 5m people are with a nominee, take a bow. Here we go again. Our screening is a bloody daylight joke. Our ministerial screening looks like a scene from Baba Sala!, probably a scene from Baba kwete oni le goolu.
