Anambra Police Urges Residents To Reclaim Stolen Tricycles

The police in Anambra have asked locals to come forward with legitimate papers of ownership to retrieve their tricycles that were taken by suspected armed robbers but later found by the police, especially those in Ogbaru.

This is stated in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Onitsha and signed by DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

Ikenga mentioned that during a search of criminal hideouts, the Police found 12 stolen tricycles and invited the locals to come pick them up with appropriate ownership documentation.

“Owners are requested to come forward with valid proofs of ownership to claim their property.

He said that the Commissioner of Police, Mr Aderemi Adeoye, assured members of the public that the command was committed to ensure that stolen property were recovered and returned to their rightful owners, to assuage the sense of deprivation victims of such crimes went through. (NAN)
