On Wednesday, Dame Patience Jonathan, a former First Lady of Nigeria, paid a visit to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the country’s current First Lady.
According to a brief statement provided to Newsmen by Mrs. Tinubu’s media assistant, Busola Kukoyi, Jonathan was paying the First Lady a visit out of sympathy.
During her visit, Dame Jonathan gave women in Nigeria the assurance that the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, would support them and ensure a period of renewed hope.

The statement reads: “Former First Lady Her Excellency dame Patience Jonathan paid a courtesy visit to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON where the former First Lady described it as a solidarity visit to assure Senator Oluremi Tinubu of her support. She also assured Nigerian women that the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu will carry all Nigerian women along and ensure a time of Renewed Hope.”
