Yemi Osinbajo, a former vice president, applauded the Presidential victory Petition Tribunal (PEPT) for upholding President Bola Tinubu’s victory.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the tribunal dismissed the appeals of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, the candidates for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party, respectively, and affirmed Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election on Wednesday.

Osinbajo declared on Saturday through his official Facebook account that the tribunal’s decision was a significant victory for Nigeria’s constitutional democracy and the rule of law.
