Driven by unbearable agony, Mrs. Busari sought alternative medical help. In 2023, she turned to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), hoping to uncover the truth about her condition.
A routine scan at JUTH revealed a horrifying truth. Mrs. Busari’s right kidney, the same side from which Dr. Kekere claimed to have removed her appendix, was missing, and she had no knowledge of this grievous loss.
Upon discovering this shocking reality, Mr. Kamaru Busari, Mrs. Busari’s husband, took immediate action. Dr. Noah Kekere was arrested by the Nigerian Police, launching a legal battle to bring him to justice.
Initially, Dr. Kekere denied any wrongdoing, but substantial evidence pointed to the contrary. Another CT scan confirmed the nightmarish truth – Mrs. Busari’s right kidney had indeed been removed without her consent.
Dr. Noah Kekere’s actions, when exposed, revealed a betrayal of trust in the medical field. While he tried to deflect blame and resolve the issue through compensation, justice must prevail, and the authorities must ensure that this grave injustice is addressed.
