Electricity Supply In Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo Collapse – EEDC Reveals

At 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, the Enugu electrical Distribution Company (EEDC) declared a complete failure of the South-East’s electrical supply system.

In a statement sent from Enugu, EEDC spokesman Emeka Ezeh verified the incident.

According to the EEDC statement, the circumstance led to the supply loss that is currently being felt throughout the network.

“Due to this development, all our interface Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) stations are out of supply. We are unable to provide service to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo states.

“We are on standby awaiting detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo,” EEDC explained.
