Flutterwave’s Graduate Trainee Program Yields Outstanding Results: Nearly 85% Graduates Employed

In a remarkable demonstration of commitment to nurturing young talent, Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments technology company, has announced the successful outcome of its first-ever Graduate Trainee Program (GT). This program, launched in August 2022, was designed to provide recent graduates with little to no work experience an opportunity to kickstart their careers and acquire invaluable skills in the technology sector.

The program, spanning 12 months, aimed to equip these young talents with both technical and soft skills while offering practical experiences within the company’s global workforce of over 750 employees. What’s truly impressive is that almost 85% of the 200 Graduate Trainees have been hired by Flutterwave, indicating the company’s commitment to fostering youthful talent.

One unique feature of this program was its flexibility, allowing it to accommodate the specific needs of recent graduates. It ensured that participants could align their traineeship with their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) obligations, a crucial factor for many young professionals in Nigeria.
