On Saturday, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police (CP), Idowu Owohunwa, and the Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Olukayode Egbetokun, discussed the circumstances surrounding the passing of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, well known as Mohbad.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyi Adejobi, informed the public of the most recent development.
Egbetokun and Owohunwa held their discussion at the Police Airwing at Muritala Mohammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, according to the police spokesman.

Adejobi said in the statement sent via X that the IGP had ordered the Lagos CP to use command resources to launch a thorough probe into Mohbad’s killing.
He wrote: “IGP and CP Lagos deliberating on the death of Mohbad at the Police Airwing, Muritala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja Lagos on Saturday. The IGP immediately directed CP Lagos to deploy the command’s resources to carry out a thorough investigation on the matter. The IGP promised the CP of adequate support on the case.”
