Young people have been asked to stop filming their own naked videos by Hon. Ify Obinabo, the Anambra State Women and Social Welfare Commissioner.

She made this statement in response to the detention of suspect Chinedu Ezeudu, who was allegedly arrested for leaking, extorting, and selling a woman’s footage online and off.Speaking to the youth, Hon Obinabo bemoaned the degree of the suspect’s damage and how, if proven guilty of the alleged crime, he would spend time in jail. He also gave counsel to men, women, and the youth in general to repress the impulse to create their own naked videos.

She expressed concern that, despite one’s best efforts to protect their privacy, some things—especially the creation of such videos—should not be taken for granted and urged adults to rather enjoy themselves when they want to than making videos of themselves naked which may get into the wrong hands.

She took advantage of the occasion to remind everyone that the current Soludo government detests crime and criminal activity and to reassure them that her Ministry is prepared to keep such crime to a minimum.
