Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has made significant additions to the list of political appointees in his administration, marking this move just two weeks after the government completed its first 100 days in office. 1. Prof. Udochukwu Ogbonna: Prof. Ogbonna has been reappointed as Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue. He previously held this position during Senator Theodore Orji’s administration but was removed by the immediate past governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

2. Mr. Kingsley Nkemakolam Agomoh: He takes on the role of General Manager of Umuahia Capital Development Authority (UCDA), a vital agency in the state responsible for urban development.

3. Mr. Chinenye Mba-Uzoukwu: Named as the Principal Secretary and Chief Strategy Officer to Governor Otti, Mba-Uzoukwu will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and coordination of government activities.

4. Justice K. C. Nwankpa (Rtd): Appointed as the Ombudsman, Justice Nwankpa will serve as a vital mediator and dispute resolution authority.
