Bella Shmurda, a Nigerian musician, has urged the Nigerian Police Force to apprehend those responsible for the death of late singer Ilerioliuwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, without delay.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Bella, a close friend of Mohbad, demanded the detention of everyone who harassed or mistreated the deceased musician while he was still alive.

The musician said in a statement published on X on Thursday that delayed justice is injustice, adding that he is unconcerned about the autopsy performed on his friend’s remains.

He wrote, “Delayed justice is injustice Bring out those who oppressed and maltreated the hell out of him when he was alive that the goal Autopsy or not he no concern me Unless our govt don’t have feelings. #Justice4mobhad #imoleliveon.”

Remember that the Lagos State Police Command revealed the results of the autopsy on the late singer’s body on Thursday.

The autopsy was successfully performed, the Police announced in a statement posted to its account on the X platform (formerly Twitter), and more details would be given to the public as soon as the results are available.

The 27-year-old singer passed away on September 12, 2023, in unknown circumstances. The next day, she was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The popular musician’s passing sparked widespread outrage, with some Nigerians accusing his former boss Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry of being to blame.

Due to this, some Nigerians have resorted to the streets in Lagos, Ogun, and other regions of the nation to demand justice for the victim’s killers.

In the meantime, the mortuary has received the remains of the late musician Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba, also known as Mohbad, according to the Lagos Police Command.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin stated this in an interview on Friday.

He said that the autopsy on his body, which was exhumed on Thursday in the state’s Ikorodu region, was finished before the remains were deposited in the mortuary.

However, denying rumours that the remains had been returned to the cemetery, Hundeyin emphasised that the corpse had been deposited at the mortuary.

“It is at the mortuary,” he told Newsmen.
