Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president in 2023, has come under fire from a former member of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC), Abiodun Ajiboye, for trying to gain President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s academic credentials.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the former vice president is attempting to incorporate the president’s academic achievements in his Supreme Court appeal of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s decision.

The PDP candidate for president in 2023 said that Tinubu’s registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) contained errors.

The former vice president argued that the revelation of the truth about Tinubu’s records is not personal and that he would only give up the fight against the president after the Supreme Court’s ruling.

Atiku also paid tribute to the late human rights activist Gani Fawehinmi, stating that he was the one who set him on the route of exploration and that he may now genuinely rest in peace knowing that the work he began around 23 years ago has been successful.

Additionally, he claimed that Tinubu dispatched a group of APC governors to visit with him right after the election, but that he turned them away by claiming that he was not owed to Tinubu as was widely believed.

Additionally, the former vice president criticised the previous President Muhammadu Buhari of revoking the contracts of his logistics company, Intells.

In an interview with Arise News on Thursday night, Ajiboye said that his former principal, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, had called the former vice president the “most corrupt human being on earth.”

The APC leader asserted that given President Tinubu’s extreme immorality and corruption, Atiku cannot be debating his moral character.
