Kenneth Okonkwo, a senior member of the Labour Party (LP), said on Friday that President Bola Tinubu should receive the same treatment as Mmesoma Ejikeme, who tampered with her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results to win the top score.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Caleb Westberg, the university registrar and deponent/witness of Chicago State University, claimed he did not have the certificate Tinubu gave the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before to the 2023 general election during his deposition on Tuesday.
He added that Tinubu never requested a replacement certificate and was never given one.

Many people have reacted negatively to Westberg’s remarks across the board, accusing President Bola Tinubu of forging his credentials and stealing people’s identities.
During an interview with Arise TV, Kenneth Okonkwo responded to the credential fabrication scandal by saying that the general public cannot judge and punish young Mmesoma.
Recall that after conducting an investigation and concluding that Mmesoma had committed forgery, JAMB imposed a three-year ban on her in order to act as a deterrence to others.
Speaking, Okonkwo claimed that people who label the debate surrounding Tinubu’s credentials following CSU’s disownership as ‘minor’ have sold their souls and consciences to the devil.

He said; “You can’t condemn and punish Ejikeme Mmesoma who did pass her JAMB but inflated the scores, and then turn a blind eye’s to Bola Tinubu who forged Chicago State University Certificate.”
