On Sunday, Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo commemorated the 90th birthday of his secondary school teacher, Chief T.N. Ezenwaka.
Soludo, who attended a Catholic liturgy in commemoration of Ezenwaka, characterised him as a powerful teacher whose lessons aided his social development.
The liturgy was celebrated by the Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Peter Ebere Cardinal Okpalaeke, who was also a student of the celebrant, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Uga, Aguata Council Area.
Soludo, while describing Ezenwaka, said: “T.N, as you are fondly called, we have come to celebrate you at the ripe age of 90. You have trained lots of people, including myself and Cardinal Okpaleke.
“Your former students are making waves all over the world. You were an excellent and impactful teacher who left a lasting impression on me and many other students.
“You were an outstanding teacher who dedicated his life to educating the younger generations. Your selflessness and commitment to the education of students earned you admiration and respect among your students.”
Students from many walks of life were also present to celebrate with him and give him gifts.
Chief Ezenwaka taught Soludo in Class 5 at Uga Boys Secondary School in Aguata, Anambra State.
