According to Anaedoonline.ng renowned American singer Kanye West has decided against running for president in 2024.
The Grammy-winning musician, 46, reportedly announced this on Friday through his personal attorney, Bruce Marks, according to Daily Mail.
Following his unsuccessful candidature for office in 2020, Kanye West had declared in November 2022 that he will run in the 2024 election. According to a person close to Kanye’s 2020 committee, “there is no plan” to run for president and “no campaign structure or anything along those lines in place,” echoing Marks’ remark to the site.

The insider added that it was “beyond remote” that the capricious performer would change his mind about a YE24 deal. Kanye’s political committee, Kanye 2020, submitted a report to the Federal Election Commission in October that also reflects ‘evidence of the decision not to pursue a presidential bid,’ per Rolling Stone.
The committee may be shutting down operations, as suggested by the treasurer and the committee’s present leadership. They currently have less than $25,000 in their possession, claims the publication.
Kanye hired Adam Camacho to shoot a documentary that will be released in November 2022, and Camacho gave insight into Kanye’s likely exit from politics in April. Kanye allegedly said, according to Camacho, “At the moment, I am fully engaged in my personal life – focusing on The Donda Academy, my new spouse, and my children, and that is my sole priority.” Camacho told DailyBeast this.
