Davido has reportedly been the target of several debt allegations on social media, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
When the musician was called out for owing him N212 million by a man going by the name AbuSalam, the charges against him started.
On her Instagram page, well-known self-proclaimed relationship guru Blessing CEO accused Davido of owing Lagos celebrity car dealer IVD N4.5 million for a vehicle he had bought for his assistant, Israel DMW.

Additionally, musician Samklef criticised Davido for reportedly withholding N1 million from Mastermind, a student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), since 2020.
The musician responded to these accusations by writing, “Make nobody beg me,” in a post on his official X page.
The musician implied in a different post that people who were harassing him were seeking attention.
