The public has been reassured by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), that President Bola Tinubu does not support discrimination and is an advocate for religious inclusion.
He clarified that Tinubu had no animosity against Muslims or Christians.
Wike’s remarks emphasised President Tinubu’s everlasting dedication to religious tolerance and his conviction that all religions are equal within the nation’s unique fabric.
Regardless of the country’s religious diversity, he believes that Nigeria’s strength is in its unity.

This guarantee was revealed when Wike inspected the continuing restoration work at the National Christian Centre and the National Mosque, two notable national icons in Abuja.
After the inspection trip, the Minister spoke with reporters and conveyed his satisfaction with the renovations’ progress.
According to Wike, the National Mosque renovations were temporarily put on hold because more work was needed to guarantee the project’s proper completion.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to completing the project, he swiftly granted the necessary funding to support the contractor’s efforts to complete the extra jobs.
Likewise, Wike pledged to assess the expenses related to the National Christian Centre refurbishment project’s second phase.

He gave the people the assurance that he will accept the project if it is within the Federal Capital Territory Administration’s (FCTA) allotted budget.
he did, however, issue a warning that in order to make sure that significant national landmarks are not overlooked, he would need to request the President’s assent if the project went beyond these bounds.
“He is not anti any religion; he takes all religion as one, because we are one Nigeria,” he said.
