PSC Declares ‘No Slot For Politicians’ In The Ongoing Police Recruitment

In the current hiring process at the Police Academy in Wudil, Kano, Kano State, politicians will not receive preferential treatment, according to Solomon Arase, chairman of the Nigeria Police Service Commission (PSC).

He states that the panel will guarantee an honest and transparent hiring procedure for the current hiring process.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Arase made this statement on Tuesday during a press briefing after visiting with the academy’s management team and commandant.

“When we were setting up the recruitment board, we brought everybody on board. Under such a circumstance, it is very difficult for you to influence it.

“I can assure you that it is not shared by any politician,” Daily Trust quoted the former Inspector General of Police saying.
