Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, has reaffirmed the administration’s efforts to provide the state’s citizens with the benefits of democracy.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Uzodinma declared that the people of the state should benefit from his reelection victory on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to the government house in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, from a group of leaders and stakeholders of Orlu Zone, led by Senator Osita Izunaso.

He claims that the Orlu zone is well-equipped and serves as Imo State politics’ engine room, recognising the leaders’ and stakeholders’ work throughout the electoral process.

“Orlu zone is a zone that is highly endowed and Orlu zone represents the engine room of Imo politics. So, nobody should be afraid to answer his name and own up to his own identity.

“I want to leave here as somebody who came from Orlu zone to serve and bring dignity to my people, dignity and honor, I will not bring shame and disgrace to you.”

The delegation’s leader, Senator Osita Izunaso, commended the governor for the state’s ongoing infrastructure projects.
