Former President Goodluck Jonathan was hosted by All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje at his Abuja home on Thursday.
The ruling party posted an update on their X account on Friday, confirming the development.
APC wrote, “The National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, received in audience former President Goodluck Jonathan @GEJonathan at his residence in Abuja.”
The specifics of the meeting between Jonathan and the former Kano State governor, however, were kept under wraps by the APC.

In other news, Abdullahi Sule, the governor of Nasarawa State, paid a visit to Ganduje on Thursday, not long after the Appeal Court confirmed his election victory.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Court of Appeal in Abuja upheld Abdullahi Sule’s election to the position of Nasarawa State governor.
In a ruling reached unanimously by a panel of three justices, the appeal court overturned the Nasarawa state governorship election petition tribunal’s decision to dismiss Sule, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.
Sen. Tanko Almakura, other party leaders, and former APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu were among those accompanying the governor on his visit to Ganduje.
