Abiodun Akintomowo, a male, is said to have died on Sunday in a hotel in Ondo town, Ondo State, after engaging in a sexual romp with a lady who was thought to be his lover.
In addition to confirming the occurrence, the Ondo State Police Command announced that two people had been detained in relation to the case.
The woman who was in the hotel with the dead and the hotel owner are the two suspects, according to SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the State Police Public Relations Officer.

She said that security concerns prevented the suspects’ identities from being disclosed.She informed reporters in Akure on Tuesday that the deceased was taken to the hospital by ambulance after he passed out in the hotel room after having sex with the woman, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
She noted that while the inquiry was proceeding, the two suspects remained in police custody.
She said that the deceased’s body had been placed in the town’s hospital mortuary for an autopsy.
After the sex session, the woman observed that the male was not breathing, so she sounded the alarm, according to a source close to the hotel. He stated that despite efforts by the hotel management and a few tenants, the man was unable to be revived.

According to him, the body was removed from the location by the local Yaba Divisional Police Station after the hotel management reported the incident to them.
