Initially, the state had resolved to sponsor 100 Ebonyians abroad for their Master’s Degree program and 400 individuals within Nigeria. However, Governor Nwifuru has raised the bar, now allocating slots for 170 Master’s Degrees abroad, 30 Doctorate Degrees abroad, and 400 Master’s Degrees within Nigeria. Notably, 70 percent of those pursuing Master’s Degrees within Nigeria will be enrolled at Ebonyi State University, ensuring efficient completion of their programs within the designated timeframe.
