Actor Yul Edochie of Nollywood, who just started an online ministry, presided over the first church service on his True Salvation Ministry YouTube channel.

Yul Edochie spoke his spiritual path in the virtual meeting this Sunday, sharing his story of receiving a direct guidance from God and his divine calling.

As he thought back on the times when people saw his potential for ministry, he disclosed that the moment he realised he was called to the ministry was a life-changing vehicle accident on the Ore road.

Yul recounted a life-changing event in which he narrowly avoided a potentially lethal situation and heard a compelling voice urging him to commit his life to serving God and humanity. This realisation signalled the start of his “second life,” which was different from his previous pursuits.

Although Yul had originally envisioned a large, physical church, he said that God had guided him to begin modestly and make use of the resources available.

He shared, “As far back as 2012, 2013, I would meet a couple of men of God, pastors, and they would always tell me that you are destined to be a minister of God, you can’t run away from it, you are going to be a minister. As time went by, I started to hear the voice myself, like anywhere I am. Most of the time when I’m in an enclosed place, just me, I’ll be hearing that voice telling me you are going to work for God.”

Yul Edochie announced last week the launch of his Christian program, True Salvation Ministry, on YouTube, where he will deliver sermons.
