The federal government renamed the Minna Airport in Niger State in honour of Chief Bola Tinubu. Binta Mamman, the state’s commissioner of information, made this remark on Sunday during a press conference at Government House in Minna.

Mamman also disclosed that Tinubu will formally inaugurate the airport’s renaming today.

When 15 airports nationwide were given names after well-known Nigerian figures, the airport previously had the name of the late Abubakar Imam.
